Hi, I’m Nicola Fraser, the founder and face of Highland Journeys. I was born and raised in Inverness, the Capital of the Scottish Highlands. Growing up surrounded by this breathtaking scenery gave me a lifelong passion for all things Scottish, and I take huge pride in sharing our rich culture, history, and hidden gems with fellow travelers.

From Biologist to Professional Guide

Before founding Highland Journeys, I worked as a Biologist. Today, I use that background as a Professional Tour Guide and Freelance Travel Consultant to give my guests a deeper, more immersive experience. Whether we are spotting Red Deer in the Cairngorms National Park, exploring ancient clan castles, or taking a masterclass at a Speyside whisky distillery, I love bringing Scotland's natural history and environment to life for my guests.
